With the 51st pick overall in the 2017 NFL draft, the Denver Broncos select….

Demarcus Walker, DE, Florida State.

Grade A++

LOVE IT. Ine of the most underrated players in the draft.

Just watch any of Florida State games and you start wonders why this guy was not drafted in the 1st round (just ideal measurables….a little nbit short here a little bit less flashy there….etc…).

Freaking great. Finally a Pro Bowl caliber interior pass rusher.

My personal scouting grade:

DeMarcus Walker DE 7 Florida State Sr 6’4” 280 2nd
My general Notes My Broncos Grade My Broncos Projection
Lacks ideal size for a 3-4 DE, more off a 4-3 DE. Has some quickness and nastyness at the snap, is able to create havoc in the backfield and has a non stop motor. Leadership roles in Florida State defense. Stout against the run too. Powerful and restless player. 2nd He has the ideal height for a 3-4 DE and great feeling for the game and non stop motor. He’s a football player and looks to be a grinder a ateam player. Has quite great quickness that could beat inside Olinemen in the NFL and also suddeness that could make him a very good 4-3 DE. He could develop better functional strength but has already a very good balance that would make him a very dangerous inside pass rusher.
