January 25th update: between the three WR early highlights available in internet I like Taylor a lot as slot WR. His size could be a concern and the reason why so many prospects with size similar to his went undrafted before him. He shows some quickness in changing direction and reliable hands together with some good speed. Not afraid to go over the middle.

January 27 update: the Broncos are rumored to have a strong interest in DL Carlos Watkins. Watkins is one of my watch list prospects since a while since he could be a good fit on the Broncos 3-4 DLine both at NT and DE. He looks a bit inconsistent but very solid. I don’t know if he’ll be still on the board at Brobcos pick in the second round, Denver FO will have to maneuver a bit to get him at the end of round 1 or beginning of round 2. Watkins is a character guy that overcame a big street accident and the death of a close friend of his in order to play great football for Clemson the last two years. He has the kind of personality and strong character that Denver FO likes. I just think that with his size and power he could be constantly disruptive and he does not show that type of production. On the other hand at the end of the day he find ways to give important contribution in any game, including this year final four and last year final four too. He’s under valuated by scout community right now and IMO, together with Alabama’s Tomlisson he’s the best prospect at DLine position after DE Allen from Alabama. Watkins and Tomlisson are really underrated right now and could and should be double checked by the Broncos to fix the DLine sooner rather than later in the Draft if no starting caliber FA will be added at the beginning of FA.
