Notes

Robert Meachem

WR

San Diego

New Orleans

4y/25.9M

I don’t get it. Not a productive WR in his career in NO, a lots of money for just pure speed and injury concerns

Jeremy Mincey

DE

Jacksonville

Jacksonville

4y

It makes sense. The best pass rushing DE on the roster stays home. Good move by Jacksonville

Reggie Wayne

WR

Indianapolis

Indianapolis

3y

Head scratching, he was supposed to follow Manning. Maybe Indy offered more money than what he was going to ask to any other team.
Or maybe his relation with Manning has just been over estimated. Good for Luck.

Cortland Finnegan

CB

Saint Louis

Tennessee

5y/50M

It was projected that Finnegan would have followed Fisher in St Louis and he did. Good move by St. Louis.

Vincent Jackson

WR

Tampa Bay

San Diego

5y/55.5M

Just for money. No way a player with championship ambitions and a lot of talent is going to a team that has been just terrible the year before. Just money baby!!!

Jason Campbell

QB

Chicago

Oakland

1y

I don’t get it. So Campbell thinks about himself as a backup QB. Good way to pave your way out of the league sooner rather than rather.

Josh Morgan

WR

Washington

San Francisco

 2y/12M

OK, Washington needed receivers….UPDATE: 12 millios in two years with 7 millios guaranteed for Morgan? Maybe Shanny sees something in him that the rest of the league doesn’t….does not look like a good deal for Washington.

Eddie Royal

WR

Washington

Denver

No brainer, Royal, sadly for the Broncos, is reunite with the coach that draft him and showed the most faith in him. He will be really good in Washington, could even become a pro-bowler.

Mario Williams

DE/OLB

Buffalo

Houston

Still has to be official

Red Bryant

DE/DT

Seattle

Seattle

5y/35M

Great move by Seattle. Bryant is a really good player in their system. He deserves the money.

Pierre Garcon

WR

Washington

Indianapolis

5y/42.5M

Again Washington and WRs…..now three WRs for Shanahan. Update: too much money. How less good he was this year without Manning throwing to him?….I don’t know where the Redskins find all this money….really. Could not be true. He will catch really few balls. Awful.

Geoff Hangartner

C

Carolina

Nick Hardwick

C

San Diego

San Diego

Great move by San Diego. Not a good year to lose a good center to FA.

Perrish Cox

CB

San Francisco

FA

Wow, he already signed a contract. I understand that neither him neither Denver wanted to meet again, SF took a good player, let’s hope for him that he won’t repeat stupid things. Most important, let’s hope that nobody will be victim again of his stupidity.

Marques Colston

WR

New Orleans

New Orleans

5y/40M

Great move by the Saints. They just showed to Brees that they care about what is important to him. Meachem out and Colston in. Just easy man, just this easy.

Todd Herremans

T

Philadelphia

Philadelphia

3y

Great move by the Eagles. Not a good year for O-Lineman FA.

Tim Jennings

CB

Chicago

Chicago

2y

Good re-signing.. He never had been this 1st round CB he was drafted for, but he’s serviceable.

Nick Harris

Patrick Bailey

Tennessee

Terrell Thomas

CB

New York Giants

New York Giants

Good signing by the NY Giants. He’s a better player than what fans think, he was one of the underrated corner I hoped the Broncos could have a shot. Denver didn’t have that shot.

Dwight Lowery

S

Jacksonville

Jacksonville

4y

This signing is a red cross light in Broncos FA. He guesses he was one of the 2-3 targeted safeties that the Broncos could bring in in Denver and try to sign a contract too. I think that is a great signing for Jacksonville

Chris Redman

QB

Atlanta

Atlanta

Backup QB that knows the system. Good signing in my opinion.

Harry Douglas

WR

Atlanta

Atlanta

When you re-sign your own guys I always agree with you. It shows that you have a broad plan and you’re sticking to it. I like this move.

Adam Carriker

DE/DT

Washington

Washington

4y/20M

Shanahan always liked Carriker, he also wished to draft him , and instead was “forced” to draft Jarvis Moss…..pity, I saw Carriker as a good player to add to Denver roster and improve depth with the possibility that he could push for playing time at both DE and DT position. I don’t think he already proved that he’s worth 5 millions per year….so he better play well and stay healthy this year if he does not want to get Shanahan furious.
